Downtown Notary is Moving to Notarize.ca
On May 7, 2021, Downtown Notary’s online notary services will be moving to Notarize.ca. “Why change a good thing?”, you may be wondering. In this blog post, we discuss why we are making the move to Notarize.ca.
Downtown Notary’s mission is to make notary public services easy for everyone. Before March 2020, we focused on providing flexible and convenient notary public services in as many physical locations as possible.
In March 2020, Downtown Notary’s world was flipped upside down - just like everyone else’s. We realized that delivering notary public services throughout the pandemic was critical. We knew that we had to change quickly to a new service model to keep supporting our clients, so we transitioned overnight to online notary services.
In the last year, we have helped thousands of clients from all over the world notarize their documents online - easily, securely and safely. The response from our clients has been overwhelmingly positive - you really love our virtual commissioning services!
We love that our remote online notarization services are so much more accessible to clients. It doesn’t matter where you’re located or if you’re short on time - all you need is ten minutes, a web camera and an internet connection. No travel necessary!
It’s clear that electronic notarization is here to stay. Given the positive impact and immense benefits of virtual notarization, it’s now our goal to bring easy and affordable online notary services to everyone across Canada. We think the name Notarize.ca fits this goal really well.
In the next few days, we’ll be introducing a fresh new website at Notarize.ca. Don’t worry: despite the great new name and stylish new website, we’re still going to be providing the same great online notary services with the same easy-to-use system. As of May 7, 2021, you’ll be able to book your appointments and access your account at notarize.cloudnotary.ca.
Downtown Notary will continue to provide our fantastic in-person notary services, including our authentication and legalization services. We’re still here to help.
